2005 “Presente” Late Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon
"Presente" means "gift" in Portuguese, and it was a gift to be able to make this dessert wine. Late harvests rely on optimal growing seasons and, well, Dad and I got hammered making this wine. Presente is that good- chocolate, strawberries, blueberries, plums, fig, and vanilla flavors make it an easy dessert pairing.

Our 2004 chapter began with an early bud break producing intense fruit. This vintage aged for 21 months in French, American, and Hungarian oak, revealing black cherry, plum, fig, cassis, and chocolate characters.

Our First Estate Vintage
Our story continues with out first estate wine. This vintage comes in
a twilight purple cover and a sweet plum nose. It begins with a library
of flavors- strawberries, nutmeg, blueberries, black currant, caramel,
and sandstone. It ends with smooth tannins bittersweet chocolate, and butterscotch.
